Statewide budget cuts cause DCBS to close on scheduled days

The current recession has reduced state revenues, and has forced the Legislature to make deep cuts. Coping with these cuts requires the Department of Consumer and Business Services, including the Insurance Division and most other state agencies to close on 10 Fridays that fall throughout the current two-year budget period (see link to the list of closure dates below).

We expect online services that are normally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be available on the closure days.

We regret any inconvenience this closure may cause. Please see the full list of closure days at the following link for future reference and planning: http://oregon.gov/furlough_closures.shtml.
