Plan approved to help rural physicians
The Oregon Legislative Assembly recently approved legislation to reduce premiums for medical professional liability insurance issued to rural physicians. A plan
to carry out the premium reduction program, developed by the State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation (SAIF), has been approved by the Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) and the
Office of Rural Health (ORH).
