Oregon Woman Heads National Insurance Examiners Group

An Oregon woman has been elected president of the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES).

Jann Goodpaster, chief market conduct examiner and acting consumer protection manager for the Oregon Insurance Division, was elected at the group's national meeting this summer in Baltimore, Maryland. IRES is a nationwide professional and educational organization for state insurance regulators.

Goodpaster is a Certified Insurance Examiner (CIE) and a Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). She has been with the Insurance Division since January 1992.
